This Visionary Leadership program has taken the lid off my life! I am applying for the position of Vice President External Relations at my university - the main responsibility of this position is to create a vision for the university and raise the funds to make it happen. And one of my main proposals is to invite the university to create a World Consciousness Project.

It doesn't matter if I get the job. I know what my life's purpose is. Never in my wildest imagination would I have seen myself as a candidate for this job before the Visionary Leadership program. The two-day presenter experience of standing up and presenting over and over again and receiving the feedback was liberating and illuminating. When I faced fear of failure back in the first module, it changed me - ME! And the world started to change around me, when I freed myself from stress, and the Victim/Blame/Defense games.

When I looked at values in the second module, I realized that I was not living by my own values! I thought I would have to leave my job in order to find someplace where my values were reflected. Now I see that this was a subtle blame game I was playing. When I started LIVING by my values, my perception of my workplace started to shift. On a daily basis I experience my values being reflected back at me. And now that I fully believe in myself, no job looks daunting. Absolute abundance is possible. THE LID IS OFF!

Now that I have been back home for a couple of days, I thought that I would take a few moments of reflection on the 3rd phase of the Conscious Company experience- Visionary Leadership III. If I were to put it as an executive summary, I would simply say, "It was awesome, meaningful, useful and worth it!" But that doesn't cover it.

My experience with all of you for the full week that we spent together was truly enlightening. From the moment that we came together as a group, I felt totally welcome and embraced by all of you - like an adoption into a beautiful family. Having immigrated from The Netherlands when I was 10, the experience of being with you all from the various nationalities and listening to the various languages spoken and the ease at which languages switched from one to the other, I felt like I had come home. It confirmed to me once again that the boundaries thatwe have drawn on this earth are some sort of a reality but the human spirit transcends them all.

I am very grateful to all of you for your warm embrace, for your willingness to share experience, observations, feedback… and the desire to help. The passion of everyone for this work was very obvious and the mature, sensitive level that it is being worked on will only help us all get better at expressing organically what needs to be heard, experienced and felt. I have learned a great deal from all of you, very much look forward to staying in touch with you and participate in follow-on training/get-togethers.

My experience included every possible feeling; sad, angry, rage, rejection to joy, elated, feeling great and happiness. • Patterns didn't used to make sense… now I realize I am the instigator of my own manifestations.

• Speaking in public while emotional was next to impossible… if I breathe I can now cry and talk at the same time.
• People have often looked to me for leadership qualities… I now recognize and honor my responsibility to create positive change as both a leader and a follower.

The VISIONARY LEADERSHIP PROGRAM has ignited a passion in me to live in Truth every moment of my life. There is no other way that interests me. I still stumble AND I get up much more Gracefully than ever before.

Close to four years ago, my life's foundation became rubble. Almost overnight, my life had lost all sense of purpose and meaning. I had simultaneously lost my job and a love relationship and thought: I've lost it all, I have nothing! My pride, self-esteem, self-confidence and drive to perform were all gone. Despite many "external successes and haves" (management position, masters degree, love relationship, exotic vacations, etc.) and so much effort spent striving to be happy, I somehow managed to feel empty and worthless. Something quite profound had to change, otherwise I knew that my deep sense of unworthiness and suffering would never go away. I did not want to spend the next half of my life feeling that way and there began a journey of self discovery, one that would ask and seek to answer: Who am I in authenticity (away from roles, titles, possessions, etc.) and what is my life's purpose (since I don't have kids)?

Along the way, I was introduced to the Journey's Visionary Leadership program. The unique approach of uncovering my authentic self really resonated with me. It made me realize that happiness starts with gratitude, forgiveness (of self and others) and acceptance of what is. Through a number of guided introspection exercises, layers and layers of old and deep-rooted debilitating beliefs were replaced with new empowering truths. I felt authentically alive for the very first time in my life. I had access to all that I ever needed: love and acceptance of self, no ifs and or buts! As a result, a 180 degree shift occurred: I went from being my own worst critic and judge, to becoming my own best friend, cheerleader and protector. What an amazing gift! It is this new "ME" that:

• Follows joy rather than seeks happiness
• Trusts that everything that happens has a lesson in it and that everything will be "ok"
• Believes that money needs to flow
• Lives for today, enjoys the journey and remains unattached to the outcome
• Aims to integrate a good dose of creativity in all that I do (always thought this quality only belonged to "artists")
• Owns a thriving consulting practice that is purposeful, conscious and fun!
• Knows that gratitude and laughter are the very best medicine!
• Is surrounded by loving friends, family and clients

BOB LEVY - Journey Presenter and Life Coach (after just attending Visionary Leadership Advanced Level I)

Just to offer another view here, I had the extraordinary opportunity to attend the Visionary Leadership I program in Lake Tahoe a few weeks ago and found it to be the most powerful, blockbuster encounter for getting to the core of what has been blocking me… ever. I was able to access the root of what has been driving all the other "stuff" and as I did, a new sense of clarity and openness arose in the most simple and elegant way. I was astounded at how deeply profound the deceptive simplicity of the program and the processes were.

For me, one of the key elements in Visionary Leadership was realizing how I unconsciously lived in and under the influence of rules that had an unyielding influence on how I perceived every situation in my life. I was able to see how my rules, even with the best of intent, in some subtle ways limited my ability to open into the limitless possibilities available in the presence of being open, unbound. As that discovery dawned, it was as though the blinders blew off and there was a panoramic view that just effortlessly arose in its place. I was now naturally so open and unabashedly honest, it took me some days to adjust to this new way of being.

It seems that leadership, as I have known it in past, has often been "by the book"… the book of rules… those things to do and how to do them and those not to do and how not to do them. In place of that old paradigm I now see the only question is, "Is it TRUTH?" - not as a rule, as much as a beacon which illuminates and guides us always.

There are large numbers of Leadership books available and a number of Leadership seminars on offer. The books are full of description, story and anecdote; they are sometimes inspiring, but they do not give direct methods, strategies, tools that will allow an individual to truly uncover, develop and embody the greatness of Conscious and Visionary Leadership.

Everyone has an opinion as to what great leaders look, sound and act like – their qualities are demonstrable, even if we differ as to the relative values of those qualities – but no one can tell us how to get there.
